Salmon on salt

A good salmon is worth its salt. A ridiculously easy “hands off, lid on” fish dish.

INGREDIENTS

Piece of “best” salmon.

Sea salt…rough hard type for the pan cooking.

Creuset frying pan with matching lid.

Salt & Pepper for pre-seasoning.

NOW WE’RE COOKING

Spread salt in the pan. Heat on 7 until slightly smoky. Lay the whole salmon piece (fish bones removed and seasoned) onto the salt. Cover with the lid. Cook 10 minutes at lowish heat.

Serve two servings by slicing portions off the whole, the middle portion can cook on for a second serving.

Great with a lettuce salad.
